BDC offers workshops on selling goods to government

The Southwestern Oregon Community College Business Development Center and the Government Contract Assistance Program are teaming up to sponsor two workshops in North Bend that will help South Coast business people learn to sell their products and services to the government.

The first workshop “Selling to the Federal Government” – scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25 – will provide an orientation to the federal acquisition process and available opportunities. The second workshop – scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2 – will provide an overview of the Oregon Department of Transportation’s Emerging Small Business Program, including the application process and the Oregon Procurement Information Network.

Space is limited. The cost for one session is $20 or $30 for both. For more information or to register, those interested can call the Business Development Center at 756-6778.
