Collaborative marketing workshop set in ReedsportReedsport business owners and managers will have the opportunity to learn to use collaborative marketing as a cost-effective strategy in a two-evening workshop scheduled in Reedsport. Workshop presenter Dan Vincent, of Tango Integrated Marketing, will take businesses through the process of creating a collaborative marketing plan, identifying common community business goals and creating the big picture of the community in the media. Participating businesses also will have the opportunity to pool resources to create higher quality and effective marketing tools. The workshop is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 8 at the Port of Umpqua in Reedsport. The $10 registration fee includes refreshments, and the workshop is funded through support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and is made possible by cooperation from Connecting Oregon for Rural Entrepreneurship. It’s sponsored by the Umpqua Community Development Corporation, the Port of Umpqua, the Reedsport Chamber of Commerce and the Southwestern Business Development Center. Space is limited.
