Colgate Country Showdown finalist sets farewell concert

Community members will have another chance to hear former Southwestern Oregon Community College student Hailey Stout sing before she hits the road for Nashville, Tenn.

The Colgate Country Showdown finalist will be hosting a farewell concert starting at 8 p.m. on Feb. 28 at Little Theater on the Bay in North Bend. The doors open at 7 p.m. the night of the show and there will be a $10 minimum donation to help with Stout’s relocation costs.

Stout, who attended Southwestern for three years studying in the College’s Music Department, visited Nashville in January as a finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown singing competition. She will be moving there to pursue a singing career.
