OCCI treats community to an evening ‘Island Getaway’

The Southwestern Oregon Community College Oregon Coast Culinary Institute is providing an opportunity to forget about the overcast winter weather and enjoy the taste of the tropics.

OCCI students will be hosting an “Island Getaway at OCCI” fund-raiser dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 9. The menu will comprise island themed dishes including roast suckling pig and island sweet treats. A no-host bar will be available with wine and tropical coolers. Entertainment will be provided by The Fabulous Librarians from “Langlois Island.”
