Southwestern to offer Korean course this spring

Southwestern Oregon Community College is offering a course in Korean language and Asian culture in Coos Bay during Spring Term.

Instructor Gillim Kim is a native Korean speaker and will be teaching the “Korean Class with Asian Culture” course, which will cover Korean language – including the Korean alphabet, the art of calligraphy and practice conversations – as well as explore Asian culture and the spirit of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Yin and Yang.
