Collaborative marketing workshop set in Myrtle PointCoquille Valley business owners and managers can learn to use collaborative marketing as a cost-effective strategy at a workshop scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, at the Ohlsen Baxter Building in Myrtle Point. The free workshop is sponsored by the Umpqua Community Development Corporation in partnership with the Southwestern Business Development Center. Workshop presenter Dean Vincent, with Tango Integrated Marketing, will take businesses through the process of creating a collaborative marketing plan, identifying common community business goals and creating the big picture of the community in the media. Participating businesses will be given the opportunity to pool their resources to create higher quality and effective marketing tools. Space is limited, and those interested can reserve space by contacting the BDC at 756-6778. The workshop is funded through support from the W.K.
