Dine on Campus

The ability to dine on campus is a huge part of the college experience!

At Southwestern Oregon Community College, everything is prepared fresh daily by our dining services staff with support from our culinary students attending the on-campus Oregon Coast Culinary Institute. We bring together expertise in culinary arts, wellness, sustainability, procurement and hospitality to develop a dining experience unique to our students.

Student Housing Meal Plans

Meal plans are included in the cost of housing based on single or double room. Meals are loaded onto the Laker Card before breakfast Monday morning. Unused meals are forfeited.  

110-Meals Per Term*

This plan allows the student to eat a total of 110 meals per term. This is a declining balance meal plan, you will need to budget meals to ensure you do not run out during the term. This plan equates to 10 meals a week.

Summer Meal Plan*

Staying on campus for the summer? This meal plan will automatically be given to all summer housing students. Enjoy a meal during every service period.

Commuter Meal Plans

Not living in student housing but still want to eat here? We get it. The food is amazing. Join us in the cafeteria located in Empire Hall (same building as the Hales Center for the Performing Arts or the “PAC”). We’d love to have you dine with us and enjoy the amazing lakeside views. See below for options and plans for dining on campus–you have options:

55-Meal Commuter Plan: $412 (25% discounted price)

33-Meal Commuter Plan: $264 (20% discounted price)

On-Demand Meal Options:

• Lunch: $10
• Dinner: $12
• Punch Cards: $90 – Enjoy 10 meals for the cost of 9! (You essentially get one meal “FREE”). Purchase punch cards in the cafeteria at the cashier station, or at the Student Success Center in Stensland Hall.
