Culinary Arts
Our short, intensive, program offers individualized, hands-on learning in state-of-the-art kitchens. Our professional chefs help you every step of the way. Study the fundamentals of classical and contemporary cuisine. You will develop skills in Garde Manger and a la carte cooking. After completing a year of coursework, you’ll move to a 6-month directed practice externship. Upon program completion you will recieve an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts and have the necessary training to work in a variety of establishments.

Baking & Pastry Arts
From traditional bread baking to beautiful desserts, you’ll learn baking skills in our state-of-the-art kitchens. Students will also learn to use sugar, syrups, icings, and chocolate. You’ll study a broad foundation of baking and pastry theory and get practical training necessary for success in the food service industry. After completing a year of coursework, you’ll move to a 6-month directed practice externship. Upon program completion you will receive an Associate of Applied Science in Baking and Pastry Arts.

Culinary or Baking Management
Culinary Arts or Baking & Pastry Arts students can complete an additional 27 academic credits during the final terms of their program. You are then eligible to transfer to Southern Oregon University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
